Poetry Lessons

I won the 'Leading The Way Award' for teaching poetry.

My nomination from Adele Smalley reads:

“I attended the Poetry session hosted by Lucienne as part of Learning at Work Week. For a person that is normally quite shy it was amazing to see her so confident and passionate about poetry. The whole room was completely engaged and seemed inspired by her and her work (including myself), which meant that all the people there were able to write their own poems. She had a real way of bringing people out of themselves and encouraging them to be confident when it came to reading their pieces out loud to the group.

In addition the session had been very well planned, and she was prepared for every eventuality. I really don’t think the session could have been done better and everyone in the room left discussing the things that they learned in the session and how much they had enjoyed it. Simply brilliant!”
